After months and months of zero contact, I finally got something to go my way. Thanks to Mr. Green setting me up with a TMD specialist, I was able to get in contact with them. After some back and forth messaging, I was finally able to secure a Research Interview, my first in a long time! Unfortunately the timing isn't great as it is 3:00 tomorrow and I have a physics test 3rd period. But I already worked it out and will take part of the test in advisory and the 2nd half at the beginning of class giving me enough time to leave, get home, and get to the office. I wish this would have happened sooner because now my ISM year is coming to the closing stages. But still an additional voice nonetheless will be helpful to have. But I wonder if we can even get it going on time. If I do this interview, then he has to see if he could accept my mentorship, and then the whole background check process. Since my final product is due on April 12th, I wonder if he could really even do much. He could give me small insight and come to my final presentation at best. I don't really know. I wonder if there is anyway I can shadow him over the summer because in that case maybe it would be worth it to have him as a mentor, because then I can benefit from this connection much further.
